Professor Lv Bisong is the former President of Being Language and Culture University, Director of The Office of Chinese Language Council International, member of National Language and Chinese Character committee, Chairman of The International Society for Chinese Language Teaching, chief editor of Teaching Chinese in the World, president of Shanghai Moren Chinese School, etc.
Professor Lv Bisong is the first scholar that develops Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language into an academic subject and he is also the founder of the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), and therefore, Professor Lv Bisong is regarded as the “Father of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language” and “Leader in Chinese-Teaching field”.
